Desde Bushwick (NY), Wilson Novitzki nos ofrece algunas piezas de su trabajo fotográfico. También nos envía un breve texto descriptivo, algo que hace a regañadientes, quizás como un modo de señalar que ni el lenguaje visual, ni el musical, necesitan traducirse en palabras. Su último proyecto, del que te puedes informar aquí (y colaborar), se iniciará como un viaje «audiovisual» desde Alemania a Turquía a través de conciertos de improvisación musical y fotografías. Wilson también es guitarrista y teclado de R. Stevie Moore, una de las bandas de culto del underground norteamericano (en el enlace a «fotografías» puedes ver imágenes de la banda). No editamos sus apuntes:
«Clearly, they all have something to do with a relationship between the living spaces here and the sky. They present the sky as being spacious, or rather, they present the buildings as being surrounded by space, not crowded, although they are in New York City. They represent the places that people inhabit, but they reflect almost nothing about human activity. You might imagine that it’s a quiet place, which it really can be. They hint at urban ugliness but they are not intended to be even slightly ugly, they are intended to be beautiful. And in spite of all of this, they are not intended to be experienced as paradoxical. I really mean for them to be quite direct, not allegorical in any way».
